While, I have focused on a few specific properties, my grandparents lived in other houses and apartments that haven’t gotten their own page. The homes not given that individual attention are the homes my grandparents lived in for a short period, no longer exist, or lacked potential for ‘garden specimen collection.’ I do feel the homes are worth a mention! After all, this project is more than just plants, it’s finding a connection to my ancestors and the homes they’ve lived in; to their journey.

The first apartment my grandparent, Ed and Virginia Petersen lived in was located on 3030 California Street, #3, Omaha, Nebraska. The apartments no longer exist and have been replaced with a parking lot.
